Otalgia or earache is defines as
pain in ear. This is more common problem in children. Pain in the ear make the patient
very uncomfortable. The Pain may increase on lying down due to increased blood
supply to the ear in the recumbent position.

7. A fever of 38°C or higher

Management & Prevention
1.
Avoid passive
smoking.
2.
Wash your
Childs hands properly
3.
Have your child
immunized regularly
4.
Feed your
infant in a fairly upright position
5.
Proper
breast-feeding your baby
6.
Never
allow infants to fall asleep with a bottle
7.
Teach your
child how to blow their nose gently.
8.
Tell your child
to avoid contact with other children who have colds.
